Summer Plans

Happy Summer, everyone! Apparently I decided that breaking a bone in my foot would be a good way to start my vacation, so I thought it would be fun to live vicariously and hear what other people are doing for their holidays. Anyone doing something exciting this summer? : )

You are in good company. My son broke his foot about 3 weeks ago. If you ask him how, he'll tell you that he was running with the bulls in Pamplona and one of the bull horns went through his foot. He's 11. I haven't told him that the running of the bulls is in July. He's sticking to that story. I hope you recover quickly.

That sucks. But, geez, if that would get me a few days or a week off from work...

I won't have a vacation. I haven't had a summer vacation in years. Most of the past few years, I've been in school during the summer. I wasn't in school last summer, but I took my vacation off from work during the spring. This year, I will be working and going to school again.

My knee still needs surgery, so not much active. I'll be happily studying for TECEPs & doing PLAs. My best friend from high school is moving back to the states after teaching English overseas for the past 7 years... so I am really looking forward to traveling & spending some time with her.
