Straighterline (ebook and test questions)

I am asking about the non-instructor led Straighterline courses btw....

So Straighterline courses typically come with an ebook. You have to use its own built in search tool right? You can't view it as a PDF and search it from Acrobat correct? How good is the built-in search tool? Can do a Ctrl+F style search?

I can actually use this ebook during the regular graded exams?

Is the ebook also available during the Final Proctored Exam? I have read that a physical book is allowed during the Final Proctored Exam but what about the ebook? Is it available?

Is trying to do one Straighterline course per week for most subjects doable if I devote 8 hours per day? I am trying to just figure an average estimate of time if one is devoted to it 8 to 10 hours per day.

Whether or not you are permitted to use the e-book varies from course to course. So you'll have to check this page to see if your course permits it. It's only an issue for the final exam as all other tests are open book. Their reader does have a search function but it returns results for the entire textbook; not just the chapter or page your looking at so it's kinda useless.

I have not had a lot of luck with the eText either. I opened 2 tabs with the eText. One with the summary where I could look up concepts by name. The other I would use for the search bar option.
