Struggling with Math? Buy a 20 year old textbook.
#1
I have read this advice several times in the past and didn't give it much thought until I started Calculus. The recent textbooks seemed hard to follow so I purchased a Calculus book from the era when I was in high school. This book makes far more sense. I believe the recently published textbooks suffer from publishers chasing profits with constant updates and manipulations. If you are an older student struggling with math, I would highly suggest purchasing a 20 year old textbook and give it a try.

Thanks Upton! Math is my worst subject by far. I will start searching for older books. Thanks again! -T
