I registered for 2 TECEPs today, and I've been spending a good bit of time researching some info on it. TECEPs don't have half as much info out there as CLEPs and DSSTs do, but I've found a good bit on it. One question I did have (that I couldn't find an answer to) is, if you've taken it, how long were the essays? A basic 5x5 or like 2 pages or something. I midterm I took for a TESC class had 2 essays in it, and they were each 2 pages long. I've heard that the writing prompts aren't terribly difficult, but was hoping someone could enlighten me as to how long they were. There's 5 short answers, I'm guessing that these are at most a paragraph? And then 3 essays. I'm really hoping a 5x5 will suffice.
BTW, does anyone know if the exam content itself was upgraded when the name changed, or was it just the title?
I'd appreciate any info or insight. Thanks.
