Minimum to to complete SL courses?
#1
I'm considering taking at least 3 SL courses and maybe 4 or 5. I'd take all three of their accounting and possible try and squeeze Macro and/or Micro Economics in. I'd rather only spend a month on them, but if needed I suppose I could spend two months.
I hope at least 3 SL course in 4 wks should be doable, as I don't have a job and can devote multiple hours a day to them.

-Are 3 courses doable (in 4wks)? What about 5?
-What's is the fastest time a SL course can be finished in?
-Is there a limit to how many courses you can sign up for?
-How much time is spent doing "busy work"?
-Is it better to (after you've already signed up for them) to start one, finish it, move on to the next, or to start multiple courses at the same time and work on them simultaneously?
-If you sign up for a monthly subscription to SL ($99), sign up for the actual courses ($39 per), and then cancel your monthly subscription but find at the end of the month you're not going to make it, can you "uncancel" or renew your subscription for a month?
-How long does it take to cancel? Is it instantaneous or does it take several days to go through?
-Can you cancel at any time or do you have to have x days left before your next payment? Anything along those lines?
-I'm presuming that the courses are independent and if you sign up for 5 but only finish three, for example, you get credit for those three. It's not, if you don't finish all you don't get any or something weird like that... is it?
-Finally, are there any discount codes still valid? (like the buy two courses for the price of one)

I know that was a lot of questions and I apologize, but if you can provide insight to any or all of them I'd greatly appreciate it.

Edit: Sorry about the thread's title... it got messed up! banghead

It is tough to directly answer this question; I took several SL courses & purposely avoided others.
First, the month is actually 4 weeks or a 28 days billing cycle- some people get stung by not reading the fine print.
My suggestion to you is to read each course syllabus & make your own determination as to how long it may take you. Some only have a few exams- others have numerous exams. All answers, with the exception of calculations, are directly out of the recommended text book. While this is certainly an advantage when taking an open book test, it also means that you will have subjective questions that require you to know the authors view.
Depending on your existing familiarity with the subject, you can easily knock out the first two accounting classes in a few days. Managerial Accounting- you should read the chapter summaries &/or view the powerpoints prior to attempting the exams.
As for cancellation, you log into your account & click on the cancel button.

Search the forum, but haven't some posters recommended getting the ISBN for the books, ordering them, and then signing up/paying for the classes? If so, you might want to do that so that you don't burn up time you've paid for waiting for the books to arrive.

I used this code about a month ago. I cant remember the actual terms, but I think I got 4 courses for the price of three.
