Sure. There are plenty of online master's programs in engineering, including biomedical engineering. Of course, you must first have an undergraduate engineering degree - something you realistically won't get online.

I agree with your assessment, but there are a few exceptions. Namely electrical engineering, which I've seen one or two.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

University of North Dakota has several ABET accredited engineering degrees (not engineering technology which are far easier to find at a distance) offered online.
I believe they require periodic residence for lab courses, and looks to be a bit pricey, but they are the only fully accredited undergraduate engineering degrees through distance education that I know of. They do have Chemical Engineering.
Online & Distance Education
American Public University System has a BS in Electrical Engineering online, but does not hold ABET accreditation.

I believe Old Dominion University has ABET-accredited online programs that aren't listed on the ABET website for some reason.
