I am looking to clarify this as well. I've read on here that some suggest sending directly to TESC and also to ACE just in case it may be needed in the future. Is this correct?

From my understanding, since TESC is a partner school, you can have the transcript sent directly to them. However, having the Straighterline credits on an ACE transcript is a good back up and non-partner schools might be more accepting of them that way.

Can't answer that question for your particular situation, but I can tell you what I did.
I transferred all 40 of my Straighterline Credits to ACE, then once I had everything banked in ACE (Straighterline, Penn Foster and ALEKS) I sent the whole thing over to TESC so I'd only have to pay the transcript fee of $40 one time (keeping in mind that every transcript after the first one is only $15).

I had my Straighterline adviser send to both TESC directly and ACE, should I need them in the future for something else.
