Straighterline proctoring question

If I'm understanding what I've read correctly, if I purchase Straighterline classes before November 1 then I will not have to use the online proctor. When I look at classes that list "Proctored Testing Required", does that refer to the new policy? Does the class require a proctored exam but it doesn't have to be the new online proctor? I'm not sure if I can disregard that note if I purchase before November or if it's still a requirement, it just doesn't have to be online.

According to this page on their website, they only require it for new courses purchased on or after November 1. However, it might be a good idea to get the proctored tests anyways, as the school you plan to transfer the course to might require it.

Thanks! I read the after November 1 part but wasn't sure if it required a proctor just not an *online* proctor until after then. I appreciate the help
