Im interested in the straighterline courses I keep reading about here. Could someone recommend one that I could do to get my feet wet to see if I like them? I donât want to bite off more than I can chew in the first one.
Also, does anyone know of any limitations with the courseware? such as browser or operating systems? Windows/Linux etc.
Thanks

I use the software on a terrible government computer in afghanistan and it works fine, with it and an older version of IE. If you like essays or are generally good at them, id say take english comp. I am doing my first course and I took english comp I. It is not too bad I too all the quizes in one day. Wrote the first 2 writing assignments the next day and today I am going to write the third. If you are good at math then Id suggest College Algebra. I have a marine taking it right now. When he is done we will switch textbooks and finish the classes. The algebra class can be done very quickly if you are a algebra pro. My marine took 3 tests in 1 day, leaving him with I believe 1 more test and then the final exam. All he did was look through the book as a refresher and then took the exams.Good luck.

How about Business communications, not much of a headache at all.
I use a mac computer but while doing straighterline courses, I use the mozilla firefox web browser as recommended by s/line

Have you checked out their website?
All the information is there!
Depending on the course you choose to do, they are multiple choice or a graded assignment.
