I have never taken a Straighterline course before, and I plan on taking these courses:
Intro to Nutrition
General Chemistry 1 (no lab)
Western Civilization 2
Business Stats
Has anyone taken any of these? How difficult are they and how long did they take you? I am aiming to finish these in two months. I am planning to finish the first three relatively quickly and leave plenty of time for Stats because I am not strong in math and tried Saylor Stats, but failed miserably.

Two of my sons have taken Intro to Nutrition, one has taken Chem and both are scheduled to take stats (but haven't started yet).
Intro to Nutrition- they both had this class with me before as a homeschool subject, and that's something I talk a lot about at home, so they had probably above average understanding going into it. There were a ton of quizzes though, so lots of busy work. I believe they both still finished in under 2 weeks.
My son who took General Chem did so after 10 months of high school chemistry with lab. (it was his last month of school) He BARELY passed with a 70%. Not an easy class by any stretch. Still, he did pass and finished the class in about 3 weeks.

I'm signed up for Chem through them but I haven't taken it yet. Prob won't get to it til March. Haven't tried the others
Straighterline's English Comp 1 is laid out better than Study.com's, I think, but requires more writing. Straighterline's American History 2 is awful. That's the extent of my experience with them so far

I took history of Western civilization 1 in two days this last weekend, I found it to be a breeze as long as you search within the book. I also did the religion course in two days and put in maybe six hours for each course, if that.
