StraighterLine just rolled out 4 new classes:

Business Communications
General Calculus I
Introductory Biology for nonmajors (with or without the lab option)
General Chemistry I (with or without the lab option)

Are these ACE approved? I was checking the ACE list while "on the run" this morning & didn't see them listed. Does anyone know?

I looked at the calculus course and it's being reviewed for ACE credit.

Thanks for sharing the news with everyone here. Here is the situation with ACE Credit:

The American Council on Education College Credit Recommendation Service reviewed and awarded a Conditional Recommendation to the new courses on September 13, 2010. StraighterLine is currently in the process of meeting the Conditional Recommendations.

Students that started on or after September 16, 2010 and successfully complete a course will be eligible to receive the ACE Credit Recommendation once the course conditionals have been met.
