Hey everyone,
Has anyone here taken the Principles of Management course through Penn Foster? If so, what was the format like? Also, do you know of anywhere else that offers Principles of Management and Principles of Marketing in an online format similar to Penn Foster or Straighterline? I would prefer to take theses courses online verses taking the CLEPS.
Thanks for any help you can provide me.

Hi I have taken both classes with PF college. They both had 5 mutiple choice exams that are open book and a proctored final exam that is 1 hour long and also open book. I can't remember my Marketing final but I do remember my Principles of Management final and it had 3 long essay questions and the rest short answers. However they allow you to take notes for the final so I strongly suggest you take as much notes as you can to the test . If you want an A you need to put some serious effort and study the material in depth if you want a B it is not a big deal you can easily get 95 average on the mutliple choice exams that are worth 2/3 of your grade that will give you 190 points out of 243 you need for a B which means that you will only need a 55 in the final exam. If you are going to use Excelsior they will take your letter grade but TESC will only assign a Pass/Fail grade.

It wouldn't be accurate to label them on as online courses as well. They send you a book and a pamphlet in the mail, you take some self-tests and mail them back (or submit online). Then they send out a proctored exam in the mail, which you take, and is then mailed back. I mainly mention this in case you are looking for some kind of online content or interaction, because there isn't any.
