Straighterline Credit Transfer as a Grade?
#1
I know that so much has changed since Straighterline has come around. Does anyone know if there are any schools that will accept credit from some of the different classes and actually transcript it as a grade not P/F? I was looking into EC and Charter Oak - but so far all I am getting from them is that I can use their credit banking service and they will list it as P/F.

Any help would be great!!! Thanks!!

Charter Oak transcribed my Straighterline College Algebra for a letter grade.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

You are a student there correct? I know they have a credit banking service, I just wondered if they would award a grade or P/F. I shall email them and see. Thanks for the info!

I graduated last November...they give a letter grade not P/F. 90-100 A, 80-90 B, 70-80 C, etc...

You get a letter grade for the older DSST exams also, like The Civil War and Technical Writing. Refreshed DSST like Substance Abuse are Pass Fail. FEMA are just accepted.

IDK about EC and TESC...but I betcha they go over from Straighterline as grades.

From what I heard from students who are enrolled at EC is that EC will transcribe it as a P/F. TESC, like Sanantone specified will be a P/F as well.

Rebel100, or anyone, please...

When Charter Oak transcribes a Straighterline course with a grade, do they make it clear that the course was transferred from Straighterline, or does it look like a Charter Oak course?

Thank you!

It clearly says straighterline.

If it clearly states straighterline on it then won't they request that copy from ACE? I am taking a class at Charter Oak plus one at Straighterline and thought that if I transferred them together I may get lucky and get a letter grade for both. Wishful thinking?
