Straighterline Credit Transfer Question
#1
I have been looking through the forms because im sure this anwser is out there somewhere but I cannot seem to find it.

I am trying to figure out how the courses from Straighterline transfer to Excelsior. Are they 70% and above is pass and below 70% is fail. Or is it an actual grade based on your %age? I am taking English I and II, Accounting I and II, macroeconomics, and Algebra. (Not all at once of course but those are the ones I plan to take in the next 2 months) Thank you for your help.

I had this same concern with accepting my Intro to Psych. credits I earned from SL.

They only receive the transcript directly from SL for the courses listed on their partner portion, but they will 100% accept any SL course you get onto an ACE transcript.

Go ahead and take the classes, send what you want to Excelsior (or to Fort Hays if you can complete in time and want a letter grade) and then the rest to an ACE transcript.

Pass/fail. 70% and above in the SL gradebook is passing. I also know that SL requires you to complete EVERY assignment regardless of your score. In other words, if you have over 70% going into the final exam, you can't skip the exam. (you could blow it off and get a 0 but you have to "do" it) SL will send your SL transcript directly to EC for you, you don't have to use ACE (but you can just for good measure, it's free and it couldn't hurt)
