Straighterline Courses??

Hello,

TESU is currently looking at my transcript, I am considering taking some course at Strighterline. Can someone explain exactly how it works?

I register and take the course, there several quiz in the course and you have to have 70% to pass?
Is there mid terms and final exams?
Are these exams open book and are they proctor?
Do I have to go to a testing center or is it all done online?

I keep getting half of answers from Strighterline, can someone please give me all of the details Strighterline.

So for each class click on 'Course Syllabus.' You can do this without signing up. Then you will see lots of information about that class. Each class may be different when it comes to what is allowed.
For instance I just randomly selected American Government. If you scroll down to 'Course Evaluation Criteria', you will see the requirements. For American Government there are 4 graded regular exams, a midterm, and a final. Most classes do have a proctored final. The science labs don't though. Everything can be done online- no testing center. It might be better if you ask about a specific class. That way someone who has recently taken it can fill you in. Also check out the free trial.
