I have several SL courses (paid for prior to 11/1) I haven't started. SL is moving from Blackboard to Moodle after 11/12. If I want to stick with Blackboard I have to start all of them before 11/12. I have no idea about the difference between the two, or if it will make any difference which I use.
Does anyone have any opinions? Thank you.

I think moodle in much better, but it will depend on how SL sets it up. Moodle is free/open source and has a wide following sort of like linux. There are a lot of upgrades and options out there...rather or not SL will be taking full advantage is unknown (though I suspect they will turn out a good product).

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

I've used and am using currently both blackboard and moodle. I prefer blackboard, though that's all it is really, preference. SL says that more features are going to be available with moodle though.
Go ahead and check out this:
demo.moodle.net
Spend some time exploring that and see how you like moodle. You already know how Blackboard works.

Thank you both, very helpful. I should probably stick with what I know, for now. Basically, I'm just studying the books and taking the exams.
