For those who have taken this class before, is an older edition of the book "We the People" an acceptable substitute? My funds are super limited.

They are usable, but sometimes Proctors don't allow outdated versions of books -- you can buy ebooks from Chegg and as long as you return within 14 days you can get your money back!

I do recall someone on this board having an issue with a proctor and an outdated/wrong edition of a book, but I can't remember who it was. I think it is rare that it happens, but it could.
