I am getting ready to sign up for Straighterline English Comp 102 and was wondering if anyone can provide feedback on which option would be best the $99 or $49 initial fee.
Is the extra $50 to have "Essay HelpTutoring (included)Prof. Office HoursDiscussion Forums" worth it?
Thanks

It's actually $99 + $49.
$99 per month (recurring)
$49 per course (one time)
Think of it this way... the recurring $99 gives you the access. The one time $49 gives you the course.
There's 2 or 3 codes out there (like the one in my sig) that will allow you to sign up for an extra course for free ($49 off).

Yup I got that (subscription and course) but they have 2 options to get the course. There's the $99 monthly subscription but then you can get the course for either $99 or $49. The $99 course option gives you access to a forum, Essay help tutoring and another thing. Was wondering if paying $50 extra for the course (not incl the subscription) was worth it for the extra services

Ohhhhhh, My bad. Misread you.

Okay, I know what you're talking about. They have that second option, professor led course and everything else now (didn't have it when I used them). Personally, what I'd do is go with the the basic $49 and see how you fair on your own. You still get 10 hours of free tutoring. If you feel like you need to spend the extra $50 and have that extra help, then go for it. Just my 2 cents.

Good Luck!

I agree with Publius. I took that class and you really shouldn't need that extra part. And if you do need help just search here or ask away. Someone should be able to help you.
