Has anyone taken the StraighterLine Introduction to Communications course what does it entail?
Do I need a web cam?
How long did it take you to complete?
Do you have to go to a test center?
Any pointers?
Trying to figure out what to do for communications credits is this the best option?

Hello.. I have yet to take the course, but yes you need a web cam for every final exam. ProctorU will watch you from your webcam while you take your test via your home, in order to get credit for these classes, proctor is required/No test centers... Now concerning how long it takes, really depends on you. For example: i completed macroeconomics in 7 days, however it took others longer. Therefore, it depends on how much time you have to dedicate yourself to the course.
Also, because intro to com is a fairly new class you have to speak to your academic advisor at your school to see if this course will transfer into your academic schedule. Their are alot of post out there concerning Business communication, which is accepted to all of the big 3 schools...(tesc,ec,cosc)
Hopefully i was able to help
