Statistics Question
#1
Well it's been a while since I've posted anything here but I'm now down to my last course and that is statistics. I knew I should not have put this requirement off until it was the last thing I needed but that is exactly what I did and I sure an regretting it. Hindsight is indeed 20/20.

I've been looking at the latest threads under all things statistics and I just don’t get a lot out of the available threads. Is there anyone who has recently taken the DSST statistics exam?

It doesn’t matter whether it was the written version or the CBT as long as your experience is recent I would really like to hear about it. I will most likely be taking the written version as it has no time limit but if I hear good things about the CBT I might consider taking it.

So if there is anyone out there who has taken this exam in the last few weeks or months please shot me a line. It would really be appreciated. Thanks and good luck to all. Jay

Take the CBT and bring your BA2+ calculator. That's the key. The feedback is lengthy, but it is accurate.

I, too, am leaving this exam for the very last. Do all the test centers allow you to bring your own calculator to the test or can they make you use an online calculator?

I'm not sure what other schools do but the proctor at my university said that she would provide the calculator. She showed it to me but I can't remember what kind it was.

Maybe I should call and ask and then go buy the exact same kind so I will be familiar with it on the day of the exam. Jay

I've been going over the feedback so I feel good about that. I guess I am one of those who is always looking for more info. Especially when I am not comfortable with the subject. Thanks for the input. Jay
