I transferred in my English comp 2 class from TESU but I haven't heard back yet. Jessica had enrolled me in ENG121 this term, but I really don't want to have to do it. I emailed her after sending my updated transcript from TESU but haven't heard back yet.
Just wondering... I assume you were going for a degree at TESU and now switched to UMPI, which degree are you planning to get again?

Completed the exam for BUS330 today. Not nearly as challenging as I was thinking it was going to be. Then again that's the only exam in the Marketing Concentration. Onto BUS433....so many looooooong papers in concentration along with professors who are new and some aren't from UMPI. 3 more classes and I'm completely done with these degree.

I was taking classes through TESU until the Summer session 2 last year when I switched to UMPI. I'm going for BABA with a marketing concentration. At TESU, I was doing a general liberal studies degree, but I wanted something more affordable and faster.

I've just submitted my draft final for BUS200 and I'm on to HUM103.
I love the draft feature, I'm so much more comfortable turning in work knowing they will kick it back if I missed something that would keep me from passing the class.

Turned in draft project for HTY 115, which was 3,000 words over minimum requirement. I am going to try very hard to avoid that in the future because that was a LOT of work.

I have found that it's really helpful to keep the instructions open for whatever project I'm working on. Then, I highlight each requirement as I fulfill it. It gives me a nice visual of what I've finished and what I still need to accomplish before the project is complete and also keeps me from adding more and more unnecessary information.

The UL marketing courses have a lot of Milestones especially BUS433. Kind of annoying since you have to write a minimum of 15 pages for the Final Assessment and the Milestones don't count in your grade. Still waiting for them to be affirmed. Been Waiting 3 days for a few of them.

Finished HTY 115: World Civ I early last week. I had already taken Western Civ on SDC, and knew a lot of the material, but it was still pretty time consuming. I enjoyed it, however, and like the professor (Sebold). All told, I probably wrote about 2,500 words for the milestones and another 4,500 for the final PowerPoint project. That's about 7,000 words.
I am now almost finished with HTY 116: World Civ II, having finished the material and needing to turn in one more milestone and the final project. In terms of learning material, it's about half as long as World Civ I, but in order to complete the milestones well, each has been between 800 and 1,800 words. So far, I've written about 3,500 words and expect the last milestone to be another 1,500. Adding in the final project, I expect I will have done about 10,000 words in writing.
Given that your average book is about 80,000 words, at this rate, when I'm done with my history degree, I'll have done a good-sized book's worth of writing.
EDIT: There may be a way to complete this degree with less writing, but after two classes, I have yet to figure it out. Fortunately, I enjoy writing, but I'm not sure how somebody who disliked it would fare.

Just took my MAT140 final and got it out of the way. I could have gone faster, but since I struggle with math, I wanted to make sure I was confident. The graphs are really hard to read because they are so small, even when enlarged.
