I have a meeting with Jessica scheduled for Thursday, and I will figure out where I am starting at that point. I am excited and nervous to get this started. I NEED to finish no later than Summer Session 1, so I will be pushing hard. The majority of things I need are the minor courses and 6 UL electives. I have 5 other classes that didn't get covered in transfer, though 2 of them I am trying to get covered. I had AP courses that transferred as college credit to my Community College, but because they showed as transfer on the transcript, they didn't get counted. So if they can get enough info between my HS and CC transcripts, it will be covered. If not, I have to try to get the AP scores sent in. I REALLY do not want to have to do English Comp 1 & 2 again. So I have a total of 18 classes showing needed right now, hopefully only 16 in reality. 7 for minor, 6 UL electives, and then 3 GEds. Hi! I have a call scheduled with Jessica on Thursday as well. I'm doing the BLS with Management Info Systems minor. I will also have 16 classes to do unless the Google Data Analytics certificate counts for any of the minor classes. I'm still waiting for it to be audited. Sounds like we'll have a similar course load, I'm hoping to complete everything in one term/two sessions.

Well, I just transferred in my last nineteen credits last night and "mastered" orientation so, although we're not starting till next week, it feels like it's begun. Ten classes to go.

My boyfriend enrolled. He has 19 classes to do. Jessica did suggest he do Sophia to finish 4 others so he can be done faster.

I have a question. I feel like I saw somewhere that the graduation date isn't until August. Am I crazy? Because now I can't find that. But if classes end on May 6th, is there not a Spring date? I really need to show I have completed my degree before August so I can start working then. Which means I need to be able to show my principal that I have the degree before she hires someone else for a slot I want. I am going to talk to her and tell her I want it, but the state requires I have this degree and be able to prove it before she can issue me a provisional certificate to work. I can't find a clear answer on the YourPace info I was sent by Jessica and thought I'd ask here before reaching out to her. Thanks!

The Commencement ceremony is in May. Takes place every May. Degrees are conferred at the end of every session so your diploma will be mailed to you like a month or so later.

She was my professor for Operations Management (BUS 415). I'm sure that I'll complete these courses faster since both of them are multiple choice exams.

Wow! I didn't know that Dorsey still did these! She's the Associate Vice Chancellor for the entire University of Maine system!

Update. With previous coursework from another school, I ended up getting my 6 ULs covered. I also have had my AP scores sent in from College Board. So assuming those AP credits go through, I will just have the 7 minor courses and 3 GenEds to complete. I am going to drive through as many of the minor courses as I can in the first session, hoping to get all 7 done, 5 at a minimum. I'd like to get them all completed and just have the 3 GenEds for 2nd session.

I think it's because those are exams not papers. She's definitely not teaching as many courses as she was when we were attending together.
