I need some help from your smart folks!
I'm starting to see what everyone means when they say that your degree plans will change a bunch! Originally, I had planned on going after a Criminal Justice degree due to my current occupation, but now I think I might prefer a BS in Business Administration for a variety of personal reasons.
Looking at the options, I think COSC would be the best fit for me. I've begun to assemble a degree plan for a BSBA but now I've reached the point where I don't know what to add. I'm 9 hours short of the business major requirements and 15 UL hours short. At least I think I'm 9 hours short of the major requirements - maybe I have something listed under the liberal arts area that would count towards the major and I've missed it?
Would anyone be willing to look over the attached spreadsheet and offer guidance/suggestions?
Thanks!!!
MBA - WGU - In Progress BA Social Sciences - TESU - 2016
Sounds to me like I have to pick one of those. So if I picked "General Business" from the table, am I going to be stuck picking 9 UL hours from COSC or am I going to be able to use random UL Business credits to satisfy that "concentration" requirement?

You will NOT have to take those particular courses listed under the General Business category, and they will NOT have to be taken from COSC. Random UL business credits from other sources will qualify.
I don't know what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future.
I had a chance to look over your plan, and it looks good. I think the Business Ethics DSST will probably satisfy general education ethics and also qualify under UL general business electives. So it seems like your plan needs 15 more UL credits including 6 more UL business electives.
Thank you! So I'm guessing UL courses/tests under the "Marketing" and "Management" categories would also work for business electives? What about "Computer Science" or "Finance" credits?

Marketing, Management, Economics, and Finance subjects would all apply as business electives. I don't know if Computer Science courses would necessarily qualify as business electives, but they would definitely count for the other UL credits that you need.

Awesome. Just to make sure I'm clear... I WOULD have to take the 9 courses (one of which is the capstone) listed here: Business Administration - Charter Oak State College Catalog as the "Major Requirements" and the rest of the business credits needed can be composed of any business electives?

Yes, you must take the nine specific courses listed under Major Requirements. Of these nine, the capstone (in addition to the cornerstone) must be taken through COSC. You also must take the three prerequisite courses listed. Then, you must have nine upper level business credits. For the general business concentration, these can pretty much be composed of any upper level business electives.
I think you have a pretty good handle on the requirements, but feel free to ask if need more clarification.

One other thing I need to add. The requirements here: Business Administration - Charter Oak State College Catalog seem to require 12 upper level credits within the major (the capstone and 9 upper level business elective credits). Traditionally, the majors/concentrations at COSC require at least 15 UL credits within the major/concentration. But your plan above lists Organizational Behavior UExcel as Upper Level, so that shouldn't be an issue for you.
