Spanish
#21
With the ACTFL Spanish reading, I was able to pull out key words and answer the multiple choice questions. I didn't understand word for word, but I knew when they were talking about weather and going to the beach. I didn't have to worry if the word was masculine or feminine and was able to understand the basics of the question. In the IC listening, they went so fast and it was very fuzzy. I thought it was my computer speaker and kept playing around with it trying to change the speaker settings.

This is really great info! The whole masculine and feminine thing kept tripping me up when I took Spanish at UMPI. The listening portions of the class I had to listen to over and over and over. I wish I had known that there was an exam where all I had to do was read. That would have been awesome. Good to know for future UMPI students!

So I have a really stupid question....Do I register for the CLEP course or the ICC (InstaCert) course?   I just did American Govt yesterday via CLEP and scored 68 and passed but want to make sure I take the right class and exam for credit.

ICC course. The Spanish CLEP is supposed to be difficult even for native speakers.
