The tuition isn't bad for out of state. It's really tempting to jump on this opportunity but I start a new job, the NSA class, and a few other classes this week. No way I can add anything else on top of that haha.

$200 per credit if you're not in TX. Great deal for anyone in TX.

Plus $10 distance learning fee per credit, $150 registration fee, and some types of classes are more per credit.

A bunch of STEM classes that are normally 3 cr are 4 cr.

It's apparently a 2 yr college, so I am thinking it wouldn't transfer as UL.

Great find! You have to fill out an application on ApplyTexas. Once you're accepted and given an email address, then you can fill out the application for free tuition. The application deadline on ApplyTexas showed up as August 25th, but classes start August 23rd. I don't know if they'll require non-degree-seeking students to send transcripts from all colleges attended. You'll need to send them an unofficial copy of your high school transcript before the audit date, but that would probably be waived with a college transcript.

They have several BAS degrees, And you can transfer up to 90 credits. Looks like a great deal. Unclear how many ACE credits they will take though. Especially good for students that already have an AAS degree.

I meant not bad for potentially having $1700 to put towards classes. You could do 8 credits and have $100 to spare. Of course there may be books or other fees...

I wonder how suicidal it would be to take calc 1 linear algebra and discreet math at the same time working full time. Or maybe 2 ?

Forget it. They have a prerequisite of calc before discreet and calc2 before linear.

Do they offer the grant for a non-degree seeking student?

It appears the only requirements are to not be a dual credit student and to be registered for Fall 2021. They have contact information at the bottom of the page for questions.

This is the most liberal use of COVID funds I've seen other than Wesley Biblical Seminary. They're giving money to everyone. LOL
