I have workplace communication, that as of the initial set up does not qualify. I have environmental science which does not qualify. I also have intro to IT which somehow did not fulfill the computer literacy requirement. I am waiting on a response to find out why...

Where are you seeing this? Is it in ROAR or is it the manual degree audit done by Nancy Parks? Do not trust ROAR for anything except confirming that all your classes have been entered into the system. It's not set up for the BOG AAS. Nancy Parks has to do a manual audit.

It's what Roar says... I guess I need to email Nancy again.

I tell people all the time, do not bother with sending an email to Nancy, she'll send an email to you and cc Lisa (Assistant Registrar) when you apply for graduation. They work on the audit together to make sure you graduate, the ROAR system isn't all that automatic. Patience as always, you're just adding extra work for them to reply to your email... Apply for graduation, continue to do extra Sophia.org - Here's a reference post: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...tion-error

Oh and here's an extra read in regards to graduation/Roar: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...n-December

Ancient Greek Philosophers should be done before Ethics. Microeconomics should probably be done before Macroeconomics. Aside from that, the order doesn't matter that much.

These are all non proctored, they are about the same for each and every one of them, quizzes/exams, that's it... open book, grab an extra monitor for multi-tasking and go through that list from top to bottom. It doesn't matter about the order...

I agree with doing microeconomics first. It is the hatder course of the 2. Macro felt like a breeze of wind.

Update on my journey since I last posted. I put Sophia on pause shortly after posting on here due to getting financially ready for my wife to leave her career after 20 years so she could attend to her 90 day student teaching requirement for her spring WGU graduation. It's crazy the amount of effort and time it takes to become a teacher when switching careers mid life. She breezed through her bachelor and masters degree in two terms at WGU but needed to spend a 3rd term in DT and edTPA.

I signed back up for Sophia on February 1st in hopes to be ready to apply for Pierpont spring graduation but I don't see myself making the March 15 deadline. Hopes now are for summer deadline!

I do have new question. I pulled an unofficial transcript from Tidewater Community College where I attended for career certifications I needed in the early 2000s. None of them qualify as graded course/credits but there is 1 graded credit earned on my transcript that is required by all people who attend the college. Its SDV 100 College Success Skills. Would this credit satisfy the Pierpont requirement for 1 graded credit from an RA school?

Since my last update, I’ve been juggling life and knocking out courses. My goal is the BOG degree. I have a couple of questions: What would be the best time to apply for the Pierpont and the BOG degree "before or after I finish 60 credits"? Any suggests which courses I can substitute that might help me bypass time consuming or touchstone courses I have listed on my degree plan? I'd like to finish this up by the end of May.

Please review post right above yours, #18. Again, Apply, send all your transcripts to them... don't deviate from the sequence. Apply, send everything now, while waiting for admissions decision, work on the Sophia.org class and send that in after you've done the class. You'll get everything evaluated before you start anyways, sometimes there are delays, sending what you have now will be best. In regards to the electives and touchstones, review the WIKI for classes that don't have touchstones and take them all in place of the ones that do!
