Sophia will be introducing a 1 credit Chemistry Lab. It will be formally announced next week. They will utilize Labster. They will also launch another science lab sometime in January 2023. I have a feeling it will be biology.
This should handle the last of the science hurdles! This will be a huge help for those who especially need it for the Big 4, particuarlly UMPI's strict lab requirement.
This is the latest from #SophiaAmbassadors!

From what I can tell, yes! They're also adding Precalculus next week!

Precalculus will be just in time and perfect for me. Won't have to switch over to some other course provider.

With the addition of a lab science, most students really could just complete around 90 credits on Sophia and transfer to UMPI. No need for Study anymore. Now if Sophia adds American Government, that would be the icing on the cake! Kind of surprised that they haven't yet. Principles of Marketing and Managerial Accounting are 2 more that they could add.

Totally agree. Once they add American Government they'll cover the GEC that nearly every university needs. With Principles of Marketing and Managerial Accounting they'll have all the GEC needed for a business major.

A class titled "Business Math" would be so nice! IS would be good too!

Awesome! But, yeah, it'd be even better if they started offering an American Government class! I suspect the reason that they haven't, yet, is that Strayer doesn't require American Government. The closest requirement seems to be "HUM 201 EXPLORING CULTURES: ADAPTING IN A GLOBAL WORLD". They do offer "POL 110 U.S. GOVERNMENT" but a quick glance at several degrees doesn't see it listed in the general education requirements.
They don't require a lab science, though, so I don't know.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210
