I haven't gotten back my first Touchstone, but I think that the posters who said you have to use the buzz words are correct. A question used the word "context." I did a global search of "context" to make sure I covered the bases that needed to be covered.
As I said with previous tests/quizzes/etc. I try to figure out what the instructor wants, and I give it to 'em. Even if I think it's stupid. It appears that the Sophia graders want you to show that you've read the text book and can regurgitate it.
That's not uncommon. I think the same thing is true for the Purdue course I'm taking on-line. Just stick to their facts, and I do really well. I'm not even chewing the cud, ruminating (?) on it, and spitting it back out. I take the words, chew them into a different order, cite properly, and move on. It's been working for me so far. I'm getting an "A," and I don't know that the "A" reflects anything particularly outstanding.
I just wish this stupid class wasn't required. I'd just drop it like it's hot!!

I got back my first Touchstone and I did well on it. The person grading it added a helpful comment which I'm incorporating into my second Touchstone.

Only one way to find out...
Yes you should be able to finish in 25 days, only the 4th touchstone is dependent on the previous touchstone I think. So I would work through all the challenges, milestones, and first 2 touchstones in the first few days, then film your speech and submit the first time. Once they grade it you can submit your final speech.

I completed the first touchstone Sunday (2020-08-23) evening and received my graded response shortly after 5PM the next day. I did well and the reviewer provided helpful feedback.

Hi-jacking the thread a bit. Can someone help me with video technology?
I'm taking this course, and I just videotaped my first speech. I'm not into YouTube, selfies, etc. When I tried to upload it to the course, it said that the maximum file size is 2GB. When I look at the Details and Activity, it says the size is 480.8 MB.
Doesn't that mean my speech should upload?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, 480 MB is well within the 2 GB file size limit.
Try recording at a lower level of resolution just to see if it makes a difference. Do you have a solid broadband connection? Wired or wi-fi? You might want to check your speed at Speedtest.

What is the file format? Assuming you're on a PC, is 480.8MB the size that the computer says the file is if you right-click and select properties? ctcarl is right that an iffy internet connection could make it impossible to upload the file.

As others have mentioned, 480.8 MB is well under the 2 GB limit.

I think it was the connection. Sloooooow. When I finally got it uploaded, it was graded within a couple of days. The professor was thorough in his/her comments and they did not seem generic.
Good or bad? I got a good grade on it. How in the world am I going to be able to improve for the next Touchstone? Oh, well.
