Sophia IT class at COSC

I just contacted Sophia about how their Intro to IT course would transfer in to COSC.  They said it isn't mapped out yet.  I understand that all ACE approved Sophia courses will be accepted at CO but has anyone had luck getting this specific class accepted and as what equivalency? My twins will be going for either Cybersecurity or the Gen Studies with IT concentration degree. I was thinking they could just take it and am assuming it will be an IT elective but I don't want to duplicate classes knowing they will be taking most of their computer classes through SDC

Just an FYI, the Cybersecurity degree at COSC is not going to be able to be tested out of. There's no way to get most of the courses needed. No idea on the IT thing.

UPDATE:  COSC got back with me that it would be a free elective.  Glad I didn't take the class assuming it would be the equivalent of the Intro class at COSC
