I am going for BSBA Gen. Mgmt. I submitted my transcripts for evaluation, but am not seeing my Sophia Conflict Resolution course. Wondering if anyone has used this and where it was placed? I am wanting it placed in my management area of study.
Thanks for your input!
ETA: Or what it transfers as so maybe I can locate it. :p

Does anyone know how COSC transcribes Conflict Resolution from Sophia? Thank you

"I have reviewed your appeal. The College has determined that Conflict Resolution taken through SOPHIA Learning is equivalent to a 3 credit lower level communications course. I am sorry if you received incorrect information. As such, your evaluation will remain as is.
Please schedule an appointment with an academic advisor to discuss how this may fit into your degree program."
Sincerely,
Cindy Strain

Excuse the grammatical and spelling errors. This response is being typed over a few minutes with no time to review.
Times are a changing, mid calendar year, which unfortunately is beginning to negatively affect students. I gather they have had folks evaluating courses or have decided to use ACE recommendations? Who really knows how these matters are truly handled internally. I had a feeling with the start of the new calendar year many changes were going to be put in place. We are slowly beginning to see those changes, although in my opinion it's been handled poorly. Now we also understand why they have nothing published. I'm sure going forward, as they are making these decisions there will hopefully be transparency, which will only benefit students.
In a nutshell, this sucks for folks who have taken the course to fill a certain slot like our dear AngelaP.
Folks, please, going forward you really need to get yourselves enrolled. There is really no excuse not to enroll with the pay per credit plan available; you can always change to enrolled options/comprehensive later. I would also use any degree plans that are published as starting guides/templates only. Please contact your Advisor to have all accepted transfer courses/exams planned. This was brought up months ago on the forum, a member shared TESC requested students work with the Advisor(s). And remember there are some credit sources they will no longer plan. Otherwise, you are leaving yourself open to future changes and/or disappointments as we have witnessed on this forum many times over this past year.
