Blitz, are you planning on going to grad school? and if so, how will you get around the gre not adding to your gpa? I was thinking of taking the gre psych until someone here (oops sorry I can't remember who) said it's not as easy to get into grad school without the gpa factor unless it's an "open enrollment" grad school. What are your thoughts on this to Blitz OR anyone who has thoughts or knowledge on this?

Sorry it took me so long to get to this but stuff came up right after I posted. Thanks for the kudos everyone, special thanks to #87,Alissa Root for conspiring with me.
Graduate school is possible at some point but for what Im shooting for I just need to have a degree.
As for the GPA thing, this credit will not change it either way. It is just like taking 30 CLEP credits, the GPA will be the grades I have from the past + anything graded I take now. I recall posts where people go the class by class route as they think it will be better for grad school, though I recall a thread about law school and when the person checked they were told it would be okay-dokie. If you know the program you want it is best to check directly. One way to get around this is to enroll as a non-degree student and do well, then apply to get in. You can also enroll at a "lesser" school and then xfr to where you want.
Always more than one way to skin a cat.
