Everybody is different. You can't base things off of how many hours a random person studied. You have to study as many hours as it takes you to be done. That ranges from zero to many hours.

I personally studied for maybe 10 hours total, over 2 days. I have prior knowledge of psychology and sociology from taking those CLEPs. I scored a 60. Like clep3705 said though, it really does depend on you. I only used IC flashcards and Cliffsnotes for this
Principles of Management.
I probably would have done better with more time and maybe Wikipedia. Best wishes!

First time I studied for about 3-4 days, 2-3 hours each day. Second time I took it, I studied for one day, and spent about 8-10 hours on it. About the same time as Snikerdoodle. I liked supervision (dsst) better though.

I only used Petersons, and I feel they're not very accurate. They're a bit too easy. Unfortunately I didn't use anything else.

How much time you put in to the test should really depend on how much experience or prior education you've had with business management and/or business related courses. I don't have experience in business management but have had several business courses. I strictly used the notes from the word documents (posted a page back) when I studied. I studied for about 3-4 hours the day before the test. Passed with a 64. I didn't find the test to be easy but I also didn't think it was hard. I thought that the notes were sufficient to pass. I wouldn't spend too much time on theory and who developed what. I only had a few questions about that. I personally concentrated on the information that I knew I had to apply and understand. Hope this helps.

Well I would not say I am a business person—these topics are all pretty new to me. I studied pretty intensively for Marketing for about 2 weeks. Thanks for the info and resources.
