Someone or anyone please help me!
#1
I have pmed and posted under replies yet I get no response. I am begging someone to help me draw up my own degree plan for the BSBA General Management from TESC.. I have been out of high school for years and I want to go back to get my degree and be done in about a year. Anytime I check out degree plans in other people's signature I get confused as some have also transferred credits from B&M Schools or not pursuing the same major.. banghead

MY GOAL:

a) BSBA in GENERAL MANAGEMENT from TESC (No previous credits)
b) I want to test out completely through CLEP, DSSTs, ETC.
c) The best study resources.
d) The total cost from start to finish for this plan.
e) Math has never been my strong suit so I would like to know the minimum credits & best way to get the credit fulfilment for it out of the way.

That's really all. Please I would be most grateful to whoever can assist me with this.
God Bless.

Do you have any college credits now? If so can you list them for us?

Also if your sold on TESC that's a great choice.....but charter oak will take up to 30 credits from FEMA free of charge, they can be done very quickly....COSC will be an independent studies or "general" degree though.

No one here wants your money....not why we're here Smile

AS in EMS August 2010

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

These plans include no B&M credits.

The prices I listed here need to be updated, but they're close enough.

ALEKS math courses are cheap and self-paced. I have free study sources in my signature, but I'm a big fan of the Instantcert flashcards.

Math really isn't my strongest course of study either. I used ALEKS for most of them with the help of the mathway tool. Sadly I really sucked at statistics and gave in and did business statistics via straighterline; which, was not too bad. I am not as experienced as testing out of courses like most of the people on this forum, but I will say Straighterline has really good deals that sometimes beats the prices of DSST and CLEPs. So try them out

Sanantone thanks. I'm guessing your degree plan is a recent/ updated one?

I can't help with all of that, but I can point you to a website another forum member created Almost Free College. Once you get there, click on the BSBA tab and make sure that General Management is toggled. When I went there just now it automatically toggled that for me.

Also Do I have to enroll at TESC before I begin testing out or can that wait?

You can start testing, taking classes and collecting credits before you apply.... Just be sure to research your school's program requirements to ensure that you are taking the right exams, classes etc. I would recommend that you take your exams and then have the scores sent directly to TESC as you complete your exams. TESC will hold your scores/transcripts and then you can apply when you are ready.
