An article by a former classmate. The research cohort he talks about at the community college was an amazing experience. I met several lifelong friends there and thoroughly enjoyed the research project. Unlike his experience, though, I found my joy was in the background literature research and not in the physical lab work.
The class operated as a cohort for biology, chemistry, the associated labs, and an undergrad research section over 3 quarters. It met 4 days a week for 5-6 hours.
