Has anyone had to compile a portfolio for graduate school? I've looked at a couple of b&m programs (just started looking at all my options) and several of them require a portfolio. I'm not sure what that would be, or how to go about starting one.
Any information or suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

What type of grad school are you thinking about attending? I am in a portfolio class starting on Jan 12 to compile all of work and make sure it's done the right way. Different subject matters require different portfolio content.

I'm just now starting to look. Ideally I think I'd love a masters in history & government - with the ultimate goal of teaching at the junior college. However, since I'm going into teaching, I'm not sure if I should get my master's in teaching.
Truthfully, the idea of a thesis in general scares me to death! That may hold me back a while.
