Can you please direct me to good resources to pass? What worked for you? I have the clep study guide and I'm thinking about using instantcert. I found 4tests to also be a good resource. This subject isn't my strong suite, but I want to get it out of the way early. Thank you for everything
The Peterson's practice tests were right on for this exam. CLEP Practice Tests The essays were probably the hardest part. But, as with anything else, writing gets easier the more you practice,
so write as many practice essays as you can. The first essay is 30 minutes and involves writing an argumentative essay on a quotation or scenario. The second essay is 45 minutes and involves reading two sources, then writing an argumentative essay stating your position on the issue while citing the two sources to back up your position. I took all three Peterson's along with the Official CLEP Study Guide practice test. College Composition CLEP Study Guide - Free-Clep-Prep.com looks good for help on writing the essays.
College Composition Modular CLEP Free Study Guide - Free-Clep-Prep.com looks good for the multiple choice portion.
I've heard several people mention that the Princeton Review's Cracking the CLEP is very helpful for the multiple choice portion, even though it's for the old English CLEP.
I also referred back to my Princeton Review's Cracking the ACT for help on writing in an argumentative style.
