MyEdu.com suspending operations on September 30

MyEdu.com provides bar charts where the categories are letter grades. This data is available for schools with large enrollments. They use grades given records obtained from the schools. Critics can of course dismiss this website as a means to minimize learning by seeking the easiest instructors. There is validity to that, but there is also legitimate value in knowing that a third of an instructor's students drop or fail. I don't know if there are alternate sources of actual grades given.

The statistics for the course I taught are highly inaccurate. If this is any indication of how the rest of the instructor pages are, then this website was useless.

I found the website very accurate for my local community college and state university. I've used it everytime I needed to take a class from a school that was covered by myedu along with RMP.

How do you know it's accurate? Do you have access to the grades from the instructors' past courses?
