My company offers access to Skillsoft and was wondering if any of the Big 3 accepts the courses as college credits? They are ACE approved. Has anyone been able to get credit for Skillsoft courses?
Looks like Drexel and University of Phoenix take they credits. Here is a link:

I would think you should be able to get credit just like I did by using ALEKS.
However: there is this note at the bottom of some of the entries in the ACE National Guide:
Quote:NOTE: Students can only use these ACE credit recommendations for SkillSoft course if they take the courses at an ACE approved instructional site, complete all 5 Learning Modules, and successfully pass a comprehensive proctored examination.
I wonder what that would mean.. umm.. Good luck in discovering, and let me know.
First step would be to confirm via your advisor.

Yeah, the Army offers these too. You have to jump through enough hoops that I decided not to do anything with it. You can get credit for the courses, but you have to have the final exam proctored, then send in a letter from the proctor, then do this, and do that. I just didn't think it was worth it. CLEPS are SOOO much easier haha.
