SR21 - A scam?
#1
https://sr21.ch/

Not sure if this weird school has been discussed before. No accreditation whatsoever. They claim to be compliant with SVEB/FSEA in Switzerland without any proof. They also claim that they have “regional offices” in many capitals around the world, again, with no evidence. They say they’ve been around since 2010, while a Swiss Yellow Page states that SR21 was registered under its current number as a company only in 2017. If it was really founded in 2010, I bet some in the forum would have heard of it?

I couldn’t find any graduates of this institution. No information on the staff. The website tends to use fancy terminology like “smart living hub”, “technology transfer”, “knowledge-based economy,” “powerful research center”, among other terms that many wouldn’t really care to understand. All their degrees are “professional,” ranging from Bachelor up to Doctorate. Add to that RPL degrees. No prices listed, so don’t get surprised when they figure out you’re from a high income country and give you a fee quotation of +10k CHF for a mysterious program.

Given my analysis and the information above, I’d say this is a scam and I would really caution against it.

What do you think?

That's a really weird site. No prices, so far as I can see, and they don't really say what you'll be studying. There are a lot of words, but they don't say much. Reminds me of http://antarcticaedu.com/

Agreed. The separation of the degree awards into its own category, disconnected from the subjects is also really odd. And when you read about a certain subject or field, there's a lot of filler text and then just a brief mention at the bottom of the page that you can study that subject at all levels.

Scam or not, I'd not feel comfortable even inquiring. Lord knows what they'd do with your personal data.

Agreed with both comments. Here’s a link for their weirder sister site that specializes in their RPL degrees: https://rpl.degree/

Apparently RPL (or VAE in French-speaking countries) is becoming the new shield for Diploma Mills nowadays, despite the fact that it’s considered legitimate in some countries if implemented properly.

No accreditation. No grads? No info. But ... they've cornered the market in CHUTZPAH!  Smile

I love that site, it looks so much like late 90s aesthetics

Doesn´t seem like a mill, just a run of the mill scam/joke... like "Look ma´, I was admitted to Antartica University, finally an university somethere admitted ME!!!"

I don't think Antarctica U is a mill or a scam. Pretty sure it's a standard parody. I love it. There's an article on the site somewhere about their sustainably harvested farmed manatee steaks.
