September graduation question ??

Does anyone know how it works when you graduate from TESU? Do you get your degree before September or after? When does your degree become official ? For instance I'm planning to have all my courses complete by middle of May if I have all units complete and graduation fee paid will I still have to wait ?

From an email I got from TESU about June graduation:

If it has been determined that you have met all of the requirements of the degree, your name will be submitted to the Board of Trustees at its next scheduled meeting for approval of degree conferment. If you have not satisfied the requirements of the degree, you will be considered for the next available graduation in September 2017.

Please note that your degree conferral information will not appear on your transcript until after the graduation date. Once your degree has been approved by the Board of Trustees, a final student copy of your transcript listing the awarded degree will be mailed to you along with your Thomas Edison State University diploma. The diploma package will be mailed within two weeks after the graduation date.

The real cutoff is at the end of May or you can ask for a final audit at the end of May assuming you already applied and paid for June graduation. If you finish by mid-May, you will make it for June graduation although you might need another degree audit near the end of May. Your degree will be conferred in June and you should have your diploma and final transcript by the end of June, which is rather quick versus other colleges.
