I heard the cornerstone is very easy and quick so I decided to time myself. I logged to Moodle and started a stopwatch on my computer just before starting. It took me 22 minutes!
I'm an extremely fast reader and I had a pretty good knowledge of TESU and policies prior to the cornerstone. So I guess that helped speed things up.
Even if you are slower, the TESU advisor I spoke to on the phone a few weeks ago and he said the most time it would probably take (like if someone was a very slow reader, bad test taker and knew nothing about TESU) would be 5 hours.

It took me 45 min! I was not so aware of TESU policies.

Thanks. I feel like I've seen people on this fourm get the cornerstone and capstone confused or think the cornerstone is some big thing.
It is just a bunch of reading and links to click with a multiple choice question every few pages of reading. There are four choices per question and you get an unlimited amount of tries per question. The course is pass/fail with no grade and only needing 60% to pass. No essays, no assignments, just a bunch of multiple choice questions, maybe about 35-40 questions total.

I guess posting about the cornerstone will soon be redundant, once TESU introduces the new course. I am told that is intense.

*ding ding ding* This is correct, as the new SOS 110 is 3 credits and 12 weeks in length.
Basically, you'll be spending extra energy, money, and time to complete another 12 week course.
It's highly advised and recommended to do the Cornerstone NOW before the requirement comes into effect.
