Seeking Insights on BS in Data Analytics
#11
@ark680, Actually, you only have the capstone left. My recommendation previously was the combo degree of BACS/BSBA CIS... Is your enrollment at TESU still active and are you on an older catalog year? Like 2019 or prior? If you have an active enrollment or even an inactive enrollment (less than 3 years) you get to keep your older catalog year for the BSBA CIS. If you transfer all your BBA and MBAITM, you'll have the cornerstone, gen ed, electives all waived anyways, you just need the Capstone. You need to decide if it's worth it to complete the BACS or BS Data Analytics, you can use the flat rate 15 credits to do the BACS/BSBA CIS capstones along with 3 E-Packs and call it a day.

My enrollment at TESU is not active, and I'm on the 2019 catalog year.

Your recommendation for the combo degree of BACS/BSBA CIS sounds interesting, especially since I only have the capstone left. I appreciate your guidance and will weigh my options before making a decision. Thanks again for your help!

You should tell us what the inactive date is showing for your student profile in MyEdison or OSS when you click the Student ID box. It should indicate inactive and the date... the date is most important to know, if it's within 3 years, you keep the catalog, if you are outside of the 3 years, you've lost the catalog. Thus, if you are within the 3 years, do the BACS/BSBA CIS combo. If not, then do the BS Data Analytics or start fresh with a new catalog for BACS/BS-CIS, decide also the cost and if it's better to stay with TESU or go WGU.

If a capstone is not needed for Data Analytics then it is interesting.
