Intro to Sociology. Now for test prep. I have really no prior knowledge so I will probably study for about a week. I have the luxury of taking the test for free through the military and am taking it for CCAF completion. I will join IC tonight when I get off the computer I'm currently on and can't wait to hit some flashcards, books, and other resources to hopefully get a 50 for the pass. This will also hopefully put me over the hump with the TESC Free Electives and be a start to the whole Clep, DSST, CBE, to a degree.
Edited to add, are there any other resources you guys can give for test prep? I'm thinking of going to the library and seeing if they happen to have a Clep book on the subject.

Congratulations on starting! I think Sociology is a great first test, it was one of my earliest ones too.

Base library. They should all have an entire section of CLEP and DSST prep books. I strongly recommend the REA.
ETA: Also, check with the base library for the login info for Peterson's, Overdrive, Oneclickdigital, and other online resources the AF offers for free. The resources are amazing, and I wish I'd learned of most before my last year in.

It's a study guide company. I found them to be the best guides for the CLEP tests I could find. When you start the DSST's,I recommend the Wise Owl guides.

Thanks, I will check them out. Now off to studying in the IC forum for Sociology. Planning to take the test at some point next week so any resources are better than none.
