Wondering if anyone can answer these questions about Saylor's Communication course.
1) Is Saylor's NCCRS test mutiple choice?
2) Does Saylor charge a fee to take the exam or you just have to pay for ProctorU?
3) How well does the course material align with the final NCCRS exam?

I don't know #1 or #3, but as for #2, Saylor does not charge anything, it's only the ProctorU fee.

The test is MC, you are just paying ProctorU and the test comes from the materials, but usually not repeats from quizzes or non NCCRS exam. I personally do not like Saylor, but it is cheap.

Do you know the number of questions that the NCCRS exam is? Also do you know the number I need to get right to pass?

There are 50 MC questions on the NCCRS exam...you have to get 35 right to pass which is 70%.

I too am going to try this course. I only need 1 more communications class for my degree. My question is how much time did you spend on reading and watching the video's for each of the units? I noticed some units estimate a time frame of 11 and 12 hours. Given that there is 15 units, I would like to trim if possible. Thanks.
