SL biology and chemistry
#1
Has anyone taken or currently taking SL biology or chemistry courses?

I am soon looking at starting one or the other(might eventually end up doing both). Which is easier or same difficulty, etc? Any suggeestions on either specific course? any input is appreciated.

Oh yeah, this will be the "for non-majors" course so no lab.

I just completed the Straighterline biology course earlier this afternoon (no lab) with a percentage of 80.6 overall. It took me a month to finish the course because I was working 60 hours per week at a job that doesn't allow study time on most nights. My biggest recommendation is to GET THE TEXTBOOK! Since the exams are open-book and not necessarily easy, you will need to flip through the chapters and glossary to answer the exam questions. A cheap used edition, international edition, or rented textbook should suffice. The blackboard presentations were flash and similar to powerpoint. I would read these presentations carefully because they simulate lectures that would take place in a college classroom.
