I don't think anyone is going to give you the writing assignments on here. That would technically be cheating.

I am going to make an assumption that the op wasn't looking for the specific writing topics, but rather wanted to know if you had to write a poem, research paper, or novel for the course. What the course consists of...

The SL Eng composition is not that hard. It is doable. It may be time consuming. It took about 3 weeks for me to complete it. There are 5-6 written assignments. The essays will be graded in one to two days.

On an average 2-3 hrs. I am not a native English speaker, hence it took long time for me.

You could probably look over the CLEP study guide for a week or so and take the CLEP with ease.
