to continue in my career I am in need of a bachelor's degree. It's not specific to any area of study, I just need the degree.
After researching the big three schools I concluded that TESU would be the best fit for me, it seems to be the fastest and cheapest method to obtain a Bachelors.
Currently I do not have college credit of any kind, my plan is to test out of most the classes using CLEP and DSST and then transfer in my credits and take the liberal arts capstone from TESU.
Attached is an excel sheet showing all of the classes I plan on taking. To my knowledge this should work to fulfill the BA in liberal Studies. Am I missing anything? Any area that I might be overlooking?
I am also in contact with TESU to make sure they will accept my plan, still waiting to here back from them.
Any particular reason you went strictly CLEP/DSST instead of the often cheaper, always more convenient online test-out options?

Whatever else you do, start working on the ALEKS course tonight. As it stands ALEKS' ACE recommendations are going to expire on the 31st. You just have time to squeeze that Intermediate Algebra in.

Hi Ryan-
Has anyone commented on or validated your degree map?
I did see the comments on why CLEP / DSST versus other platforms, but I was still curious if anyone commented on your questions regarding essays for American Lit and English Lit through CLEP.
Hi there, sorry for the late response. I never received notification of replies
In regards to questions on American and English Lit, according to the staff at TESU if the college board doesn't require an essay then neither does TESU. If you are doing college composition the essay is required by CLEP so it is required by TESU. My reason for going completely CLEP/DSST is simply speed. My objective is to get my degree as quickly as possibly and CLEP/DSST seem to allow me to get credit the fastest.
