This is the first night in a long time when I can sit here all night just surfing the web, daydreaming and yakking on the IC forum. I have a whole 6 weeks before my next exam(s) either 1 or 2 PRAXIS depending on how I did on Saturday.
I have been working full steam since last October when I started my last class and now. Including that class I have earned 35 credits and finished my BA. During that time I have had so much else going on I can't believe I really did it.
My main point is the good feelings and sense of relaxation that comes with setting a goal, making a plan and plowing through no matter what is just amazing.
So for my 900th posthilarious I want to say Thank you to all of you brave souls who are out there risking your lives for our American way of life. Only in America :patriot: could a lowly middle child (a daughter no less) of 2 high school drop outs have a dream for soooo many years and never have to give it up. I knew that if I was willing to do my part someday I could be the first one in many generations to say I have my degree.
Ok I am feeling really happy tonight It is the realization setting in. I AM DONE I do not have to take one more test write one more paper get one more grade. I have my BA. If and when I take any more exams or classes it is just icing on the cake.
I say again to anyone feeling overwhelmed or burnt out DO NOT GIVE UP you will not believe how good it feels when it is over.
EDIT: OK I think it is time for me to go to bed Thank you all for sharing my night of relaxation and happiness, I can't think of anyone I would rather share it with then my IC family.
