Did you also complete the microbiology lab portion through Straighterline? I'm about to start nutrition, and micro with lab would be my last course before I can submit my BSN application... I recerty completes a/p1&2 butnamnon a time crunch to meet the new application deadline ...

No. The lab kit is too expensive.

The Saylor courses are just being used to supplement the SL course. Saylor's Microbiology course is not worth credits on its own because it neither has ACE nor NCCRS approval. I had no use for the Saylor materials. You still need the textbook, so I don't see the point of the partnership with Saylor.

I am doing it at a local school that has an accelerated BSN for ppl with a previous bs... At Touro university NV... All I need is micro , nutrition and lifespan.. So I'm gonna CLEP lifespan use SL for nutrition, and I was looking into micro at SL as well but need a lab component

There seems to be a lab for SL Microbiology. I am not sure if that was why you were looking for.
