Did you also complete the microbiology lab portion through Straighterline? I'm about to start nutrition, and micro with lab would be my last course before I can submit my BSN application... I recerty completes a/p1&2 butnamnon a time crunch to meet the new application deadline ...

No. The lab kit is too expensive.

Does SL have it's own Microbiology or is this a hybrid between them and Saylor? Online Microbiology Courses for College Science Credit | StraighterLine

What am I missing here?
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014
BS Charter Oak State College November 2011
AS in EMS August 2010

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

I see they have one for Statistics too, I think this is a partnership. In any case, $25 for 3 credits is amazing!

Don't think it's $25 through SL

The Saylor courses are just being used to supplement the SL course. Saylor's Microbiology course is not worth credits on its own because it neither has ACE nor NCCRS approval. I had no use for the Saylor materials. You still need the textbook, so I don't see the point of the partnership with Saylor.

There seems to be a lab for SL Microbiology. I am not sure if that was why you were looking for.
