Review my UMPI BABA plan? Please?

Hey all - my eyes are crossing. Will y'all pls review my degree plan (attached)? Going with UMPI, BABA - M&L concentration.

Def open to swapping out classes known to be "easier" or "faster" -- open to any feedback, actually.

What's Waycross and UGA?

ART 235 is not available on YourPace.

You have way more than enough electives. There's only 18-21 credits for electives. Skip PCJ315 at UMPI. You want it for an elective but you already have too many. PCJ215 is required for this degree. You have COM210 listed but that's not in the major. You need a BUS elective. That's for the major not the concentration.

Is your math correct? Do you have the required number of credits for each segment of the degree?

You need:
40 credits in the GEC
59-62 credits in the major and the concentration
18-21 general electives

Ahh thank you, this is the problem. I was building my plan based on the catalog BABA M&L here (http://catalog.umpi.edu/preview_program....turnto=190), which would be the on campus degree map, then. Looks like I have to take MAT 140 despite having Calc already.

With the GEC the courses only count 1 time so if the same course is used multiple times - like American Government - then it's still only 3 credits not 6. Some people make this mistakes. There still needs to be 41 credits.

You'll need Math for Business even with having the math classes you have. It's a really easy course especially for someone with the math background you have. Think of it as an easy A that you can get in less than a week.

Just make sure you're completing at least 10 courses at UMPI. That's a requirement. Looks good otherwise.

Waycross is no longer Waycross -- it's South Georgia State College now, I believe. And yes, UGA is that one. I guess we'll see what happens!   From what I've read, I don't apply to UMPI until I'm done the other stuff...and to answer your q, no, I haven't done Sophia or Study yet! Starting Sophia this week.

I'm 99% sure I haven't counted any GEC twice but I'll double check.

Apply early, send your current transcripts early, start the process promptly and follow up just to make sure you're really in the program and can enroll. You don't want to apply/send transcripts and *wait for acceptance*. After you send those in for evaluation, continue working on courses on your spreadsheet...

No, I thought that I would need to wait until the March session based on other commitments -- there are 18 courses between Sophia and SDC that I need, I have a lot of time now (>20h week) but am currently unsure if I can speed through as I would need to after the next 3 weeks. (Self-employed slow season but upcoming holidays + 2 kids + hubs + dog, the usual...)

Do you suggest that I wait until I'm done at least some? I read in multiple places to make sure I'm done with most of the classes before applying, as UMPI automatically enrolls you if you're accepted *and* it's potentially more difficult/annoying (need permission) to transfer after enrollment. Maybe I'm reading too much into it and there should be a couple of months lead time, in which case, maybe I can finish the 18 courses in 10 weeks (the January session starts in 11 weeks)...?
